Jean Lane Boutique

Adorable shirt from Jean Lane!

Good Morning!  I wanted to highlight a friend of mine from Davenport, Washington (where I grew up) and her new online boutique!  I love the local boutiques where I live in Arizona, as they offer unique, classic, fun items that can't be found in regular stores, so why not try an online twist?!?  To date I have purchased two items from Jean Lane Boutique and I must say there is something enjoyable about having someone else ship you clothes!  I am usually NOT an online shopper for clothing because I prefer to try things on and I don't want the hassle of sending it back -- however both items I purchased fit great, arrived quickly, and I am very pleased with!

I am a big fan of people who are willing to follow their dreams and step out of their comfort zone and because of that I believe in support!  Successful people build each other up!  They motivate, inspire and push each other, and I love having people in my life that do these things and that I can be there for!  Another major plus is Davenport has some fashionable go to options!  I have not tried the leather jewelry she has recently featured but I plan to order some of that as well!

For those of you who don’t know me… My name is Libby Murdock.  I’m married to the most amazing, hardworking man, Cody.  We met in a barn.😆  My mom set us up about 7 years ago and we’ve been married for 5 years.  I’m a part-time paralegal at Brock Law Firm (13 years) and Cody is a supervisor at Inland Empire Paper Co., as well as a farrier ‘in his spare time’!  We are raising two beautiful daughters, Raylee JEAN (4) and Jaydee LANE (2) – who are our absolute world!👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

I’ve always had a passion for the latest fashion trends-beit clothing, shoes, jewelry, or hairstyles.💁🏼

About a year ago, I found myself drawn to the online boutique shopping scene.  I mean, what momma really has time to take a day “off” for some retail therapy?  When and if I ever get a day to go shopping, it usually looks a little like this: an hour drive to Spokane, change a diaper, load up in strollers, shop a little, be mom of course… “don’t touch!” “please don’t hit your sister!”, then make a decision to TRY to get everyone into the dressing room, or just buy it and take the chance of having to return it later, because now we’re all hungry for lunch.  Change another diaper.  Drive another hour home…. Now where’s the wine???🍷Haha!  Point is… online shopping is my go-to.👌🏼

And then about 6 months ago, I had ordered a couple new tops from online boutiques for our trip to Texas, and I told Cody “I think it’d be fun to start an online boutique, so that I can put my own personal touch on the inventory.”  He didn’t see my vision until we were in Texas and it was there that he finally realized how much everyone is really into fashion, especially my “flavor” of style.  So I think it was on the plane ride home, he looked at me and said “go for it!”💃🏼

So here we are… “Jean Lane Boutique” brought to you by the Murdock family.  We own this online boutique – I do not work for any other company.  I do all the purchasing, ordering, selling, and shipping.  And most recently we started making our own leather jewelry – with the help of my amazingly creative and talented sister, Kelsie 'Hutsell' Mann.😍

My vision is to provide the latest trends with a little boho/western flare.  I’m always open to new ideas, so if you have any requests, etc. – I’d love to hear from you!

I hope you all enjoy this little venture as much as we do!  Happy shopping!!❤️

I wanted to take a moment to highlight someone else today!  There are many amazing charities, websites and small business owners out there that we don't know about!  Take a minute to browse the website -- unique, creative pieces made with love!  I personally thought her designs were perfect because to me they meant something and I could personalize them to what inspired me!  http://www.ahavadesign.com

I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica (owner/designer) in person last year when she created the two bracelets for me below!  Since then I must admit I have given the "Blessed Mama" bracelet as a gift at least 5 times because I love mine SO much!

My "Brave" bracelet I had made in honor of Lincoln.  He is one brave little boy and he doesn't even know it yet!  I wear it as a reminder to myself that we are all stronger than we realize --- in fact we are amazing!!
