My name is Shayna and I am a blessed mama to a vibrant, active and lovable five-year-old named Lincoln.  Together we are a dynamic mommy + son duo who are grateful for life and enjoy giving back to our community and helping other people!

I am a fun, loving, special needs mama to an amazing little boy.  I strive to live a life that encourages others to above all else be humble and to find positive twists to the many difficult circumstances we all face.  Motherhood is a challenging position that many of us are blessed to hold.  With that said, I never take for granted the title, as many long for such a role.  I understand that tears fall, anxiety exists and some days you do not know which direction to turn. My sweet little boy has taught me that we all have special needs, some are just more apparent. Life is full of trials and sickness, joy and pain, tears and laughter.

Together we are learning to advocate for pediatric stroke awareness and cerebral palsy in a positive manner with the hope of providing encouragement to other families experiencing trying times.  We believe that a diagnosis does not define or limit a child and through our daily experiences we want you to see that love and support are an important part of the plan.

By sharing the ins and outs of therapy and treatment, as well as my love for fitness, health ~ and lets be honest wine ~ I hope to provide you friendship, encouragement and love as you embark on your own journey.  My son has an amazing heart, a larger than life personality and he is the pillar of strength.  A key component to his success is making sure my own tank is full and that I can be the best mama possible cheering for him every step of the way.
